Gabriel Quinto
GabrielQuinto_profile.jpgI currently have the honor of serving as your West County Representative on the Democratic Central Committee, as well as serving the residents of El Cerrito as an elected Councilmember, and, in other capacities, serving on local, county and regional boards and commissions. As Councilmember I am a liaison to the El Cerrito Environmental Quality Committee and Financial Advisory Board, am General Assembly Delegate with the Association of Bay Area Governments, and alternate on the West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee and the Marin Clean Energy (MCE) Board. I currently am also on the Sierra Club Bay Chapter's Executive and Political committees as well as Chair of the West Contra Costa Group. I am Vice-President of Programs, West Contra Costa League of Women Voters. In 2012 I attended the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC as a Delegate-At-Large for the Democratic Party, where I supported President Obama. I was an elected California Democratic Party Delegate for Assembly District 15 (which includes North Alameda and West Contra Costa counties). I am presently one of four voting members for West Contra Costa Region 1 representing Contra Costa County on the Democratic Central Committee. I serve as member of the California Democratic Party's Asian and Pacific Islander, Filipino-American, Latino, African-American, and LGBT caucuses, and sit on the Executive Board of the Disability Caucus. Genoveva Calloway
My name is Genoveva Calloway. I have been a Democrat all my life. I grew up in a Union family in El Paso,Texas. I have been a West County resident for the past 46 years. I am a retired Mental Health Program Manager from Contra Costa County Mental Health Services. I am currently a San Pablo Council Member, on my fourth term. I believe in Democratic values where the American dream is everyone has a job, food, housing and healthcare. Everyone should have an equal opportunity in higher education and aspire to become a working-middle class family. Because of my experience in public service, I see the need to get more people involved in our democratic process/society, by becoming involved in their communities and registering to vote. So I pledge to work on more voter registration activities and to create/develop alliances to provide leadership development for all residents interested in getting involved in bettering their communities. I ask humbly for your vote.

Maria Alegria
MariaAlegria_profile.jpgI am a life long Democrat and have worked tirelessly to help Democrats get elected to public office.  I believe that we need to develop and train young and emerging leaders to run successfully for elected office.  It's important that new leadership reflect the diversity of Contra Costa County. As Democrats, we need to continue to fight for economic, social and environmental justice.  In Contra Costa County and the Bay Area, working families, students and seniors are struggling to maintain a good quality of life. We hear daily about the exorbitant housing costs that are displacing many who've called Contra Costa County and the Bay Area home. My public service and work experience includes: *16 years of government and public policy experience combined with over 25 years in advocating for human rights and social justice. *Served four terms on the Pinole City Council, 1992 – 2008. *Elected as the District-Level Obama Delegate to represent the 7th Congressional District (Congressman George Miller) at the Democratic National Convention in Denver in 2008. *Interim President and Founder of the The West County Democratic Club (WCDC). *District Representative for Assemblymember Tony Thurmond. The Democratic Party must make the fight for social, economic and environment justice its top priority. I've spent several decades as a Democratic leader championing issues of equity, social, economic, environmental and political justice.  If re-elected, I will continue to fight for our Democratic values. I would be honored to have your VOTE on June 7.

Mister Phillips
MisterPhillips_profile.jpgHello. My name is Mister Phillips. I have the privilege of representing District 1 on the Contra Costa County Democratic Central Committee (the Central Committee) since 2012. District 1 includes El Cerrito, Pinole, Richmond, San Pablo, East Richmond Heights, El Sobrante, Kensington, Montalvin Manor, North Richmond, and Tara Hills. I am running for re-election to the Central Committee to better the lives of children and families in District 1. Although I have multiple legislative interests, my ultimate vision is that every child in District 1 will attend a safe school where they are engaged and able to achieve academically. I humbly ask for your vote this Election Day. It would be an honor to continue in your service on the Central Committee.
